Healthy Lifestyles is a 12-week program, open to all adults who have been notified by their health care provider that they are at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes; focusing on lifestyle/behavior modification through exercise, nutrition and social connection.
Program runs in fall, winter and spring in Allentown, Deer Path, Doylestown, Fairless Hills, Quakertown.
The Program
This free program includes:
✔️ Participation in the 12-week Healthy Lifestyles Program with evidenced-based curriculum based on CDC guidelines
✔️ Twice weekly meetings (classroom & fitness center) with topics and activities including nutrition, yoga, personal training, fitness classes, and more.
✔️ Family membership during the 12-week duration of the Healthy Lifestyles program.
✔️ Upon completion receive certificate and t-shirt

The Impact
Our Healthy Lifestyles Program has impacted 605+ individuals since the program's inception in 2014.
2024 Program Participant Total: 67
Participants reported over 54,000 reported activity minutes, weight loss exceeding 142 lbs. and at least 5 individuals achieved a weight loss of more than 10 lbs.

Notes on the Pathway Experience
In our efforts to provide a platform of togetherness and safety, and by the graciousness of our donors, the pathway experience will consist of five, essential modules:
- Access to our virtual wellness platform, Y Wellness 24/7
- Weekly connections and conversations via ZOOM with your pathway family.
- Pre/Post survey and InBody scan
- Group Togetherness sessions are provided to participants of all pathway programs, offering valuable information and more.
