Join us on Saturday, May 10, 2025, for the annual YMCA Bucks County Strong 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run in scenic Doylestown, PA, as we celebrate healthy families and community. This Mother’s Day weekend, make memories with Mom and the whole family while participating in one of the seven races within the historic Bucks 5K Series. The YMCA Bucks County Strong race offers a welcoming atmosphere for both first-time runners and seasoned athletes, taking you through the picturesque streets of Doylestown, with a finish line at War Memorial Stadium at Central Bucks West High School.
Race day promises an unforgettable experience, featuring pre-race entertainment, community cheer support, and a fun 1-mile run for younger participants. After crossing the finish line, enjoy family-friendly activities, vendors, and a post-race celebration to honor our Bucks County Strong champions. This special event will end with a surprise at the finish line to commemorate the day, making it a perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend. We can’t wait to see you at the start line for this iconic tradition in the heart of Bucks County!

About the Bucks 5K Series
The Bucks 5K Series, a 501c3 nonprofit, is designed for runners of all ages and abilities. Featuring seven 5K races, the series spans from March until June annually.
Who does the race benefit?
River Crossing YMCA is a charitable, nonprofit organization committed to strengthening our communities through membership and programs that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all. The Y employs more than 1,000 people, serves more than 60,000 individuals, and provides $5 million in charitable community impact each year. River Crossing YMCA is a non-profit organization that relies upon charitable support to ensure that no one is turned away because of an inability to pay. Each year we provide more than $500,000 to provide financial assistance for children and youth from low-income families to participate in childcare programs and summer camp; we feed more than 3,000 at-risk children and youth each year; and, we provide more than ten free healthy Pathway Programs that address special health needs among veterans, cancer survivors, those with mental health issues and more. 100% of the proceeds from this event will support these important causes.
