Spend the summer at our 20-acre campus with weekly camp options designed for a wide range of ages and interests. Families can mix and match programs to build a flexible summer schedule while giving campers new experiences each week.
Our offerings include Adventure Camp for grades K–7 and Jr. Adventure Camp for ages 3–5, Counselor in Training for grades 8–10, Ability Camps for youth and teens, sports and specialty camps including Empower U for girls and Teen Travel Adventure Camp for grades 6–8 featuring daily trips Monday through Thursday.

Adventure Camp
Campers are grouped by grade to encourage skill-building as well as teamwork, sportsmanship, camaraderie and friendship. Campers will participate in a variety of activities each day, which may include PE, Art, Music, Science and more. Campers are
grouped in the following categories, based on the grade they are entering in the fall:
- Junior Adventure, age 3-5 years (modified curriculum)
- Cubs K-1st grade
- Wolves 2nd grade
- Tigers 3rd grade
- Lions 4-5th grade
- Eagles 6-7th grade
Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs
For rising 8th-10th graders: The Counselor in Training (CIT) program helps teens grow as positive role models, working with staff and young campers to develop leadership and
responsibility. New CITs will interview with Camp Leadership in late spring.
Teen Travel Camp
Travel Camp is designed for pre-teens and teens to enjoy adventures with friends while visiting local theme parks, arcades and indoor fun centers. Camp runs Monday through Thursday, with drop-off and pick-up times varying by destination, generally between 8:45 and 9 AM for drop-off and by 4 PM for pick-up unless otherwise noted. Details for each trip are communicated via newsletter and app.
Ability Camp and Leaders-in-Training
Grades K-Age 21 | Available for campers who need smaller ratios for safety and success. See page 15 for more information.

Esports Camp + Tech Camps
Grades 3-7 | Metro Esports and the YMCA present Esports & Tech Summer Camps,
blending gaming with education to enhance teamwork, creativity and problem-solving. Campers explore their favorite games while learning design, development and business,
guided by experts through hands-on activities and competitions.
Private Swim Lessons During Camp
Private swim lessons will be offered during or after camp each week this summer. Enrolled families will receive signup links on Mondays via email (one week before their registered camp week) to book up to two (30-minute) private swim lessons per week on a first-come, first-served basis.

Doylestown YMCA Camp Descriptions
GRADES K-7 | Get ready for a summer filled with exploration, discovery and fun! In Adventure Camp, campers are grouped by grade to build friendships and develop confidence through a wide range of age-appropriate activities. Each day brings something new, from sports and team challenges to creative arts, music, science experiments and outdoor play.

Our campers learn through doing, developing teamwork, sportsmanship and camaraderie along the way. Groups are thoughtfully designed to encourage growth and connection within similar age ranges. Groups are determined by which grade your child is entering in the 2026-2027 school year:
• Cubs: Kindergarten–1st Grade

Each group follows a balanced schedule of activities designed to engage both mind and body, helping campers gain new skills, build confidence and make lasting memories.
JUNIOR ADVENTURE CAMP
AGES 3-5
Our littlest adventurers, affectionately known as FROGS, enjoy a fun-filled introduction to camp life with a program designed just for them. Jr. Adventure Camp follows a modified version of our Adventure Camp curriculum with hands-on activities in science, arts and crafts, sports and physical play.
Campers build coordination, creativity and social skills through a variety of engaging experiences that promote both fine and gross motor development. Each day offers a safe, nurturing environment where young campers can grow, explore and make friends.
Campers must be at least 3 years old and fully potty trained prior
to attending.
Grades K-7 | Specialty Camp is the perfect camp for the child who loves to participate in creative activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, dance and more.
AQUA BUCKS SWIM CAMP
Bring your swimsuit and a smile as we spend the week developing our skills in the water. Campers will work with our swim instructors on techniques while building confidence in themselves.
CAMP CHEFS
Campers will create mouth-watering dishes while learning the basics of cooking. Each child will leave with a recipe book containing the creations made that week.
DANCE
Learn routines in hip-hop, ballet and modern dance. The week will conclude with a performance on Friday at 3 PM.
EMPOWER U!
A week-long camp to strengthen the self-esteem of girls grades 7th-10th. Campers will participate in a variety of fun uplifting workshops along with daily fitness activities. The cost of Empower U Camp is covered by one of our generous donors and space is limited.
FUTURE BUILDERS
A variety of inventive projects will be created throughout the week to allow campers to practice their engineering and design skill. Campers will transform ordinary objects such as cardboard, craft sticks, legos and duct tape while overseeing their own construction projects and discovering the world of design and development.
JEWELRY MAKING
Campers will learn to design and create their own wearable art using different materials.
KIDS YOGA
Campers will learn different yoga poses and play games to help with balance, strength, and flexibility.
Y STEM
Join us for an action-packed STEM camp where fun and learning collide! Through hands-on experiments and creative challenges, campers will dive into the world of science, technology, engineering and math. Kids will unleash their creativity and teamwork skills, all while discovering the wonders of STEM. Get ready for a summer of exploration, innovation and endless excitement!
Grades K-7 | Sports Camp is the perfect camp for the child who wants a little bit of everything when it comes to sports and enrichment. Campers will enjoy participating in a wide array of sports and activities to keep their bodies and minds active.
BASKETBALL
Players are divided into teams by age and participate in different skill stations each day. Stations help develop dribbling, shooting, passing and defensive skills. Players take part in game play each day.
CHEERLEADING
Campers will be introduced to the fundamentals of cheerleading, including chants, motion, tumbling, stunting and jumps while learning routines and cheers. The week concludes with a Cheer performance on Friday at 11 AM.
CROSS COUNTRY
Master the fundamentals of running, while strengthening race techniques and learn proper mechanics. The week concludes with a timed race Friday morning.
GYMNASTICS
This camp will serve as an introduction to skills on the Gym Kids Circuit and will progress to more independent and complex tumbling skills. This camp is the perfect way to see if your child may have an interest in gymnastics.
KIDS TRI TRAINING CAMP
Spend the week learning the basics of a triathlon, including swimming, running, and biking. Participants will enhance their skills and build confidence in each discipline. The camp will conclude with a time trial to showcase individual progress. Make the experience even more rewarding by signing up for the Kid Tri in Doylestown on Sunday, August 9, 2026!
NERF CAMP
The fun never ends at NERF camp. Join us for an action-packed week! Campers will build teamwork, problem-solving, sportsmanship and put strategy into practice through NERF tag, challenges and scenarios. The Y provides space, obstacles, supervision and FUN! NERF blasters, darts, equipment and safety goggles are included.
FLAG FOOTBALL
Players are divided into teams by age and participate in four skill stations each day. Stations help develop passing, route running and defensive skills. Players compete each day in games and learn to call their own plays as the week progresses. The week concludes with the Y Super Bowl. Please note NFL Flag jersey and belts are not included this summer.
OBSTACLE NINJA
Run through an obstacle course like a warrior! Train with strength and conditioning exercises, daily challenges, and ninja courses.
SKATE & SCOOTER
Campers will spend the week learning basics including safety, repairs, tricks and terminology. Safety equipment and board/scooters are required.
SOCCER
Players are divided into teams by age and participate in different skill stations each day. Stations help develop passing and defensive techniques. Shin guards recommended.
SPORTS FRENZY
Sports Frenzy gives campers the opportunity to try and learn about new sports and recess games while promoting skill development, self-confidence, movement, teamwork, sportsmanship and FUN!
VOLLEYBALL
Athletes will be introduced to and enhance fundamental skills like serving, passing, hitting, and setting through a combination of drills, games, and competitions.
Campers entering grades 6-8 | Is your camper looking for an adventure this summer? Our Travel Camp is a great opportunity for pre-teens and teens looking to have fun with their friends while visiting local theme parks, arcades and indoor fun centers.
LUNCH & SNACKS
Campers will be responsible for providing or purchasing their own lunch or snacks unless provided as part of the travel adventure trip. We recommend always bringing a water bottle. Information about each day and what to bring will be provided in the week before camp begins in the camp Newsletter/Hotsheet.
SCHEDULE
Camp operates Monday-Thursday. Drop-off and pick-up times will vary each day based on the trip destination. We will provide a schedule of all trip departure and return times in the camp Newsletter/Hotsheets that are sent out the week before camp starts.
In general, we ask that campers are dropped off at camp between 8:45-9 AM and that they are picked up by 4 PM unless stated otherwise in the Newsletter/Hotsheet.
