Amanda Pinili
Amanda Pinili was born in Indiana and began dancing at the Conservatory of Dance in their student company. She then pursued her BFA in Dance at Western Michigan University. After graduating she moved to NYC. She was a full company member for Dance Cat-Alyst and Syncopated City. She also had the pleasure of performing for Hallo-Hallo Inc, The Construction Company, Ellen Strokes Shadle, Erin Malley and Malleable Dance Theater, Amy Adams, Jamie Dowd, and RFX Swing. While living in Brooklyn she taught at Cobble Hill Ballet and Cynthia Kings Dance Studio for 9 years. Since moving to PA with her husband and 3 kids she has had the pleasure of teaching at the YMCA and other various schools in Bucks County.
Rebekah Massey
Rebekah Massey has been dancing since the age of three. She studied under Eileen Mahoney Coombs, at Eileen’s Academy of Dance. She danced for six years at Sesame Place, where she traveled in the United States and performed as the character Bert. She continued her love of dance at Moravian College where she pursued a bachelor of arts in Psychology and certification in Elementary Education. While attending Moravian, she participated in the MC Dancers and was President of the organization her senior year. After graduating and moving to Doylestown, Rebekah taught second grade in the Upper Dublin School District and taught dance at local dance studios. She has been teaching dance at the YMCA for eight years and loves being an active member of her community, where she lives with her husband and six children.
Maria Carter
Maria Carter was born in NEPA where she began dancing at the age of four. She began dancing at The Joan Harris Centre, training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. She went on to pursue further training at Temple University Boyer College of Music and Dance, broadening her movement styles to include Modern, African Dance, and Improvisation. She was in various performances, faculty, and student works in and around Philadelphia. She also received the Theresa Benzwie Dance in Education Award after visiting schools in Cherry Hill, NJ incorporating movement into their learning. After graduating with her Bachelor in Social Work from Temple, she moved to Jersey City, NJ to pursue her Master of Science in Nutrition at City University of New York (CUNY) Hunter College and after completing her Dietetic Internship within Geisinger Health System, went on to obtain her Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential. She was working as a Clinical Dietitian within Atlantic Health System in NJ before moving to Doylestown in 2020. Maria is forever grateful for this journey and education, combining the best of both Art and Science worlds and empowering others to live their best quality of life! Today she enjoys being an active member of her community, living with her husband and two little ones, and sharing her love of dance whenever possible!
Elizabeth Lipenta
With over 15 years of dance experience, Elizabeth has honed their skills across a range of styles including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Improv, and Tap. A former competition team member and Disney World performer, Elizabeth has been teaching and assisting since 2012 and currently leads classes at a local daycare. Influenced by top-notch mentors, including the head of the Jazz Department at UArts and a former Rockette, Elizabeth brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to their teaching.
