River Crossing YMCA provides school age child care for children Kindergarten through the 7th grade before and after school in Pen Argyl, PA. Supported by an understanding of children's learning styles and interests, our program is designed to provide activities that enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
The curriculum follows PA Early Learning Standards supporting growth and development of youth in key learning areas: Literacy, Science, Math/Problem Solving, Arts, Social Competence, and Fitness/Nutrition. This curriculum supports a unique learning environment that stimulates a child's curiosity while reinforcing essential academic standards.

Before and after school care includes youth programs, healthy snacks, homework time and physical activity.
Before care- 6:00AM to start of school
After care- end of school day to 6PM
All-Inclusive Care in Lehigh Valley Region
All-Inclusive Care in the Lehigh Valley Region (LVR) differs from all-inclusive care in Bucks and Hunterdon Counties. LVR All-Inclusive Care covers half days from school and delayed starts to school. Holiday care or camp can be purchased separately on an as needed basis.
Day Off School Camp
Day Off School Camp is available to existing families for an additional charge of $55 per day. Please contact your director for more information.
