Preschool not only provides important skills that benefit the transition to kindergarten, but gives your child a foundation for reading and math success in elementary school. And the benefits of preschool continue as your child grows! In fact, a child who attends preschool is more likely to finish high school and attend college than children who did not attend preschool.

Preschool programs
Our Suburban North YMCA Child Care Center offers programs for children age 3 through 6. The Preschool builds on a child's natural desire to learn new things and become more self-reliant. Getting along with other children, sharing, taking turns and working in a group are a natural part of playing games or learning a new craft.
