3v3 Adult Basketball Tournament

The madness is beginning! Join us at the Deer Path YMCA for our March Madness 3v3 Tournament! This will be a 2-day event Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 filled with fun and competitive half-court 3v3 basketball. Teams will be designated the names and colors of college teams that are going dancing in the tournament this year. Included in the fees are: referees, scorekeepers, stats, and refreshments. Come play and see who will come out on top of all the madness! 

Tournament Details

Date: Saturday, March 29 & Sunday, March 30 2025
Time: Teams should arrive by 3:00 games will start at 3:15
Location: Deer Path gym
Registration Deadline: Friday, March 21st
Pricing: Members: $30 per player, Non-Members $45 per player

Team Requirements

Team Composition: 3-5 players per team
Age Group: 18+
Skill Level: Open to players of all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
 

Tournament Format

• Bracket Style:
  • Saturday: Teams will play a round-robin style tournament to establish a record and seeding for Sunday
  • Sunday: Single elimination tournament. Teams will compete in a knockout format.
• Game Rules:
  • Game Duration: Each game will consist of a single 10-minute period, or until a team reaches 21 points while being ahead by at least 2 points (whichever comes first)
  • Scoring:
    • 2-point field goals: 2 points
    • 3-point field goals: 3 points
    • Free throws: 1 point
  • Possession: The team that wins the coin toss will start with possession.
  • Substitutions: Allowed only during stoppages in play 
  • Fouls: Team fouls will be tracked. After the 7th team foul, the opposing team will receive free throws.
