On May 23, the Y held an incredible alumni event at our Doylestown branch for graduates of the THRIVE Cancer Wellness Pathway program to get together and celebrate wellness and their stories of strength.  Twenty-two Thrive Alumni gathered with their peers and staff to reminisce and reflect upon the incredible impact of THRIVE upon their lives and community.

YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties has received funding from a few very generous donors which will allow us to purchase cargo vans for transporting meals for our ever-expanding food programs. 

On April 8, the Y graduated another class of THRIVE Cancer Wellness Pathway program participants!

The Y continues to support and empower youth in our programs. Elana Kean is a youth aide for one of our before and after school programs in Hunterdon County. What is special about her story is she is working part time for the same program she attended as a child growing up!

Healthy Horizons, the donor-supported YMCA Pathway program to nurture wellness for individuals in treatment and recovery for a mental health diagnosis, is now serving the lower Bucks community at our Fairless Hills branch!

John Merry, a graduate of our Veterans Pathway program, and his wife Christine are Y members in Doylestown. John served in the army during the Vietnam war, one of the first soldiers to be drafted. He spent most of his deployment in Korea because at the same time, his brother was serving in Vietnam, and siblings do not serve together.
