River Crossing YMCA provides school age child care before and after school for full-day Kindergarten through 6th Grade in the Quakertown Community School District. Our school age child care program is an important part of our greater child care center at the Quakertown branch.
NEW! 6th grade program provides after school supervision with homework time and leadership opportunities as well as projects and more.

Before & After School Care
Before and after school care provided at the Quakertown branch includes transportation to and from all elementary schools in the Quakertown Area School District. Program includes learning centers, homework time, structured gym classes, weekly swim time (after school), group projects and games.
Before care 6:30AM - start of school
After care End of school - 6:00PM
All-Inclusive Care
All-Inclusive Care includes Before and After Care, as well as care during half days off and most full days off included in one monthly price.
Day Off School Camp
Kids enjoy a fun day of traditional camp activities including art, music, sports, games and swimming during a scheduled day off from school.

Full and Half Days Off Program
Please note: The full-day off program may be held at a different location, such as our membership branches. The half-day off program is typically held at the school site. Families who select the All Inclusive Care option are not charged for full-day and half-day off programs. Information to follow from the director as we near these school closing days. Please see our parent handbook for greater details.

Drop-In Care Instructions for our Bucks County Families: For the convenience of our families, we are pleased to provide Drop-In Care at a daily rate if/when space is available. Requires completed paperwork and billing method on file, submitted at minimum one week prior to desired start date. All care is billed on the 1st of the month for the month prior. Example: Services in September are charged to the billing method on file on October, 1. Once the paperwork is submitted and approved, to enroll in Drop-In Care, parents must provide a minimum notice of 24 hours by emailing the director and receiving an email confirmation response from the director
