River Crossing YMCA provides school age child care for children through the 5th grade before and after school in Nazareth, PA. Supported by an understanding of children's learning styles, interests, and PA Early Learning Standards, our curriculum is designed to provide activities that enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
The curriculum follows Creative Curriculum Early Learning Standards and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) supporting growth and development of youth in seven key learning areas: Literacy, Science, Math/Problem Solving, Arts, Social Competence, Fitness/Nutrition, and Technology. This curriculum supports a unique learning environment that stimulates a child's curiosity while reinforcing essential academic standards.

Before & After School Care
Before and after school care provided on site at the school and includes youth programs, healthy snacks, homework time and physical activity.
Before care- 6:30AM to start of school
After care- end of school day to 6PM
All-Inclusive Care in Lehigh Valley Region
All-Inclusive Care in the Lehigh Valley Region (LVR) differs from all-inclusive care in Bucks and Hunterdon Counties. LVR All-Inclusive Care covers half days from school and delayed starts to school. Holiday care or camp can be purchased separately on an as needed basis.
Day Off School Camp
Kids enjoy a fun day of traditional camp activities including art, music, sports, games and swimming during a scheduled day off from school.
