River Crossing YMCA is proud to announce the Athletes of the Month for March, 2025
Athletes of the Month are selected monthly for each branch as a way of recognizing young athletes who exemplify the Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Program: Jr Sixers & Postseason Basketball
Description: Through her hard work, focus, and drive Quinn has improved her game tremendously in the last few weeks. She always comes to class with a positive attitude, a smile on her face, and ready to learn. I am excited to see her continue to improve!

Age: 3
Program: Obstacle Ninja
Description: Charlie works hard and gives his all in Obstacle Ninja class every week! He is a great listener, takes turns, and is kind to all of the other kids. He sets a great example, and is a lot of fun to have in class!

Program: Major League Sluggers
Description: Wyatt never misses a day of Major League Sluggers! He always comes in with a huge smile on his face and is ready to play. The past few months he has had great improvements in his pitching and batting which includes his first ever home run. Wyatt has enjoyed the program so much that he is beginning his first ever baseball league and we wish him the best of luck!

Description: Brantley is a shining star in our Jr. Sixers Basketball league! He works hard, cares about others and loves playing basketball with his friends. Congratulations Brantley!!

Program: Ninja Obstacle
Description: Daniel is always ready for fun. He is energetic and a good teammate. Daniel is the group helper, he loves helping others and the coaches with anything we need! He has a need for speed and is always looking to improve his course time.

Program: Baby Ninja and Muscles in Motion
Description: At only 2 years old, James is fearless in the NinjaZone. He comes to class every Saturday with lots of energy and ready to run, jump, and climb over all the obstacles. James also recently joined Muscles in Motion with his older sister Claire. James is the youngest participant, but that does not stop him from running around with the big kids and participating for the whole class!
