YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is proud to announce the Athletes of the Month for May 2023.
Athletes of the Month are selected monthly for each branch as a way of recognizing young athletes who exemplify the Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Sophia M Age 4 Gym Kids Sophia always comes to class energized and with a smile on her face. She continues to improve her gymnastics skills each week, and is happy to demonstrate for new class members. She also takes the time to try new sports and activities in class, even though gymnastics is her absolute favorite! |

Emmett Kulick Age 10 NFL Flag Football 10-12 yrs Emmett has been with us since September and has taken part in a variety of different sports. He always shows up with a positive attitude and a comment about how the Giants are better than the Eagles. He is always willing to help the younger kids in his hockey class. Emmett enjoys coming up with new ideas and games. He is a pleasure to have in class! |

Alexa Zwart Age 11 Infinity Gymnastics Xcel Gold Competitive Gymnastics Team This is Alexa’s first season in our program. This photo was a picture from her first state competition where she placed 2nd in the state in the All Around for her age group. In addition to her gymnastics talents, she has proven she is a leader on the team by always cheering on her teammates to do their best and giving them encouraging words when things don’t go as they planned. Her coaches all agree she has been a wonderful addition to our team program. |
