YMCA Infinity Gymnastics Wins Big at States; Opens Brand New RCY Gymnastics Center In Quakertown
QUAKERTOWN - River Crossing YMCA’s Infinity Gymnastics team returned from state YMCA competition in Greensburg, PA, April 17-19, with multiple state Y titles and 52 gymnasts moving forward to national competition in Greensboro, NC, June 27-July 1.
Infinity Gymnastics is the competitive team of the RCY Gymnastics program, which recently opened a brand new, state-of-the-art facility at the Y’s Quakertown branch at 401 Fairview Ave. The program has sent qualifying athletes to YMCA National competition for more than 20 consecutive years. Big finishers at this year’s state competition include:
- Xcel Silver State title winners Abigail Tassah on Beam, Marlee Bivighouse on Floor, Addie Bowman on Vault, Beam, and Floor, Ava Baldwin on Beam and All Around, and Amarra Eliazo on Beam,
- Level 3 State title winners McKinley Longacre on Floor, Kenzie Patton on Vault, and Adalyn Scherer on Beam,
- Level 4 winner Addison Wesner on Vault, Floor, and All Around,
- Xcel Gold winner Leah Snyder on Beam,
- Xcel Platinum winners Morgan Fox on Beam and Bella Price on Bars,
- Level 6 winners Shaina Freed on Floor and Gracie Lynch in All Around, and
- Level 7 winners Zoe Smith on Vault and Giada Arcade on Beam and All Around.
Addison Wesner, Ava Baldwin, and Gracie Lynch were awarded the 2026 Keystone Stars titles because of finishing in the top of all age groups in the all around. Following national competition in Greensboro at the end of June, RCY Infinity Gymnastics will compete in the State Games of America to be held in State College, PA, July 31-Aug 2, 2026.
“Nothing compares to the hard work and dedication that goes into preparing for these competitions, and our athletes genuinely love putting in that effort,” shared Caitlyn Ripka, head coach of River Crossing YMCA’s Infinity Gymnastics team. “We couldn’t be prouder of all of our gymnasts and are very excited to see what they will do at nationals.”
The state-level competition in Greensburg came shortly after RCY Infinity Gymnastics transitioned into the brand new RCY Gymnastics Center in Quakertown.
“The new gymnastics center now offers training and skill development on the same equipment featured at club gyms,” said Janine Brown, director of gymnastics programs for River Crossing YMCA. “What sets the Y apart are the values and life skills athletes will attain in our programs.”
The center offers a full developmental gymnastics pathway beginning at 12 months of age in the Baby Ninja parent-
child program, continuing through recreational levels, and extending to competitive levels 5 through 8 and Xcel. Equipment includes in-ground training pits, competition-grade bars, vaulting tables, spring floors, balance beams and tumbling strips.
“Infinity Gymnastics has given me the opportunity to grow not only as an athlete but also as a person,” shared Mackenzie Marco, 2026 graduate of the program. “The discipline and confidence I’ve gained have shaped who I am both inside and outside the gym.”
The newly constructed RCY Gymnastics Center is the result of community support and fundraising through the Y’s Raise Up Our Community campaign. The campaign is ongoing in support of further renovations at the Quakertown branch, including an RCY Sports Center.
Summer gymnastics camps are available for all levels, including team camp, cheer tumble camp and obstacle ninja camp. All coaching staff hold current USA Gymnastics certifications, SafeSport training, and CPR/first aid credentials.
